Thanks to the replaceable inserts, the soft-face mallet can be quickly and easily customized to individual requirements. 8 impact inserts with different hardnesses and diameters from 30 mm to 140 mm, 3 housing variants and 2 different handle options are available. This allows the hammer to be flexibly adapted to the task at hand.

BASEPLEX mallets - the one mallet for (almost) all needs
Like other Halder hand tools, the BASEPLEX soft-face mallet is modular, and so the individual components can be exchanged separately. The base is the high-quality zinc die-cast body with handle impact protection. Integrated into this is a technically sophisticated slot for the inserts. The exchange of inserts is quick and easy: In order to release the worn insert, like the tried and tested Halder SUPERCRAFT soft-face mallet, the mallet needs only to be clamped in a vice. When the user then pulls the hammer upwards, the insert is released from the slot. The user can then simply press the new inserts onto the mandrels in the vice.
